This morning, Guo Wenhai, member of the Standing Committee of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Shunde District Party Committee, led a team to investigate Lunjiao, inspecting the Lunjiao village-level industrial park, the International Jewelry Industrial Park and some enterprises to understand the development of Lunjiao’s characteristic industries and the upgrading and transformation of village-level industrial parks. Guo Wenhai proposed that Lunjiao should use three to five years to build the jewelry industry into another 100 billion industrial cluster in Shunde. It should stand at the height of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to build a world-class city cluster to cooperate with Shunde’s central urban planning, unify consensus, and gradually implement it with the spirit of nailing; Lunjiao should become the main area and bridgehead for the “Hong Kong + Shunde” cooperation; it should take the lead in promoting the overall transformation of village-level industrial parks.
Guo Wenhai and his team came to the BPerfect Group Jewellery Industry Park which is under construction to learn about the design, planning and construction of the industrial park. Guo Wenhai expressed his approval of the construction of the jewelry industrial park. He said that the jewelry industry represents the beautiful economy of Shunde, and this industrial park will gather processing, production, display and trading on one platform, and at the same time can drive tourism, which is very important for the development of the industry.

Afterwards, Guo Wenhai inspected the Yang’e Village Industrial Park in Lunjiao. He said that the transformation of village-level industrial parks requires joint efforts from both the district and town levels. The district should promote the introduction of basic policies, formulate standards, and use three to five years to promote the upgrading and transformation of village-level industrial parks, combining rural revitalization, “three old” transformation, and urbanization to build a new image needed by Shunde in the new era. The district planning department should invite first-class teams from home and abroad to carry out high-standard and high-level planning.
